Yoga Nature offers weekly Classes in Brisbane – at Kelvin Grove + Brookfield, as well as Online via ZoomSee below for Class Descriptions.

Classes run throughout the year, to align with school terms.

• ABOUT YOGA NATURE CLASSES •

All Yoga Nature Classes are inspired by the the fluid, embodied wisdom of traditional Hatha / Vinyasa Yoga, Breath and Subtle Energy, Meditation, Self Inquiry, natural movement, simple Presence and a deep love of Nature.

Mardi shares a wholistic and authentic approach to Yoga – creating a supportive, joyful and energising space for seekers of wellbeing, curious beginners, general practitioners, and experienced Yogins with an adventurous spirit.

In each class, students explore a wholistic approach – integrating an energising, yet balanced blend of embodied Asana (physical postures); Pranayama / Breath Awareness and Subtle Body Practices (for cultivating Life Energy); Meditation / Mindfulness; deep relaxation (Savasana); and gentle Self Inquiry.

This allows for freedom within the flow and focus of each class – ensuring an aliveness that is always fresh!

Classes are taught with an emphasis on Embodied Awareness, deep and natural alignment principles and the cultivation and free-flow of subtle energy to develop strength, flexibility and balance – opening the Body and the Mind.
Yoga Nature Classes are inclusive and non-competitive. Variations for Asana (postures) are provided where needed, to ensure all students experience the many benefits and transformative qualities of their practice – and feel these qualities flow into their daily lives.
Importantly, throughout each class, students are invited to explore and cultivate a deeper, more subtle Awareness – of Body, Breath and Mind. When we practice mindfully, we begin to experience the Heart of Yoga – our very Nature – the vibrant presence within!

A vibrant and wholistic ‘Open Class’ for curious beginners, general practitioners and experienced Yogins – integrating a balanced, yet energising blend of Yoga’s Seeds of Practice. A vibrant and nourishing ‘Open Class’ for all seekers of wholistic wellbeing – from curious beginners, through to general practitioners and experienced Yogins with an adventurous spirit!

• DYNAMIC HATHA / VINYASA YOGA •
A dynamic General / Experienced Class

A vibrant and dynamic Class for general practitioners and experienced Yogins – integrating a balanced, yet energising blend of Yoga’s Seeds of Practice. Throughout the class, students are invited to cultivate a deeper, more subtle Awareness – of Body, Breath, Mind and Heart. Inclusive and non-competitive, variations for Asana ( physical postures) are provided where needed, to ensure all experience the transformative qualities of their practice. Freedom within the flow and focus of each class ensures an aliveness that is always fresh!

A vibrant and dynamic class for general practitioners and experienced Yogins with an adventurous spirit! (Not suitable for Beginners)

• HATHA YOGA •
A foundations Class for active Seniors / Beginners

Brookfield (Brisbane)
Thursday mornings • 9.30am – 11.00am

A wholistic, foundations Class for active Seniors and beginners, this Class focuses on deep, natural alignment principles in harmony with the flow of the breath. This foundation builds strength and flexibility – cultivating a subtle energy and Awareness, which gradually opens the Body, Mind and Heart to a greater sense of Wellbeing. Inclusive and non-competitive, variations for Asana (postures) are provided where needed, to ensure all experience the transformative qualities of their practice.

A class for active Seniors with good mobility, and beginners. All welcome!

• YOGA FOR WELLBEING •
A nourishing foundations Class / All Welcome!

Online via Zoom
Monday mornings • 9.30am – 10.45am

A nourishing foundations Class for all seekers of vibrant wellbeing. In this class, you will be gently guided through wholistic and accessible Yoga Postures, simple Breath Awareness, and Relaxation practices to help support and nourish your nervous system, brighten your energy levels – and bring more balance, ease and joy into your body, breath, mind and heart – right now! Each class finishes with a short guided relaxation (Savasana).

Awaken into the Flow ~ Since ancient times, the still, Prana-filled early morning is known to be a powerful and potent time for Yoga, meditation and subtle energetic practices connecting us to Life’s vital force (Prana).

Helping you align with the natural rhythm and flow of the day, this vibrant, energising early morning vinyasa* yoga class will cultivate clarity, vitality and a quiet aliveness… so you can mindfully move through your day from a place of deeper stability and inner harmony.

Inclusive and non-competitive, variations for Asana (physical postures) are provided where needed, to ensure all experience the transformative qualities of their practice. Freedom within the flow and focus of each class ensures an aliveness that is always fresh!

* WHAT IS VINYASA?  In Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa means ‘to place, or put together in a special way’. The essence of Vinyasa is experienced as a moving meditation connecting the body, breath and mind. This can be explored within a single Asana (posture), as well as within a flowing series of Asanas strung together like a mala (garland).

A vibrant class for active seekers of wholistic wellbeing, general practitioners and experienced Yogins with an adventurous spirit! As this is a dynamic vinyasa class, some experience of Yoga’s basics will be essential.
(Classes are 1 hour)
This class will be offered again Online via Zoom in Spring 2020.

• SUNRISE HATHA YOGA •
An Open Class

Since ancient times, the still, Prana-filled early morning is known to be a powerful and potent time for Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and subtle energetic practices connecting us to Life’s vital force (Prana).
