Spring is a time for renewal. For new growth… A few weeks ago, we planted a veggie garden. And, although there may not yet be strong signs of visible growth, I know that under the surface, things are happening!
You may have read here, the beautiful and thought provoking words of Rumi:
‘Put seeds and cover them.
Blades will sprout
where you do your work.’
You may not know exactly when, but, with the right conditions – care, patience, awareness and (most importantly) trust – they will grow. Everything that is needed is already there. Within that seed. Tiny, fine roots are being sent down into the earth, connecting and grounding the plant – preparing it for it’s natural and inevitable journey upwards!
In time, those seeds will grow and flourish – evolving into something that will, in turn, nourish us – feeding us in many ways, both obvious and more subtle. So it is with Yoga… In the beginning, all we need to do, is plant the Seeds of Practice…
