Dear Yogis and Friends, It’s been a while since my last post, but so many stories to tell! Hard to know where to start… So, for now here is an image taken last night in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. We arrived in this ancient city around 7pm, and found ourselves wandering through a market housed in the Puthu Mandapam ~ an amazing labyrinth of intricately carved stone columns from the 15th Century. Within, we unexpectedly came across a huge stone image of the Goddess, covered in flower garlands. Beneath were these beautiful oil lamps. Devotion is everywhere!

Tonight we will visit the breathtaking Sri Meenakshi Temple for an evening ceremony. Another ancient home of the Goddess…
